“I know it’s very easy to criticise a stay but we have stayed in most of the harbour hotels and this one lacks the sparkle we normally expect. Service was very slow and tables left uncleared for lengthy periods. Not blaming the good staff but they were sparse and under pressure. There were stains on the bed base and carpets and shower hard to use and this was in one the the most expensive rooms. We ordered room service one item didn’t turn up and the other was not what we ordered so again not……

“Easter weekend away, Thursday to Monday. It was a fantastic stay with great hosts. Nothing was too much trouble, and breakfast was terrific. Location perfect train into St Ives 3 min walk, or you could walk into st Ives around 20 min a nice walk as well ”

“This lovely hotel is well positioned for a stay in St Ives. It’s out of the town which makes parking and travelling around very easy. You can catch a bus or taxi to the centre easily. The restaurant could be improved - if you had a great chef in the hotel - this place would be awesome. At the moment it’s pretty hard to get cooked toast with your poached eggs at breakfast. The staff too are pretty changeable some are fantastic - others one guy in particular, tired and in need of a holiday……

“The room facilities are old, TV remote control has no power, shower water too weak, room floor is not flat.”

“Indoor and outdoor swimming pools, jacuzzi spa pool, steam room, sauna room, all this facilities are available to hotel guests free of charge. Spacious room, stunning view from the room, tranquil environment, nice breakfast buffet (many fresh melons!!!!), everything was dreamy!!!!”
