“We’ve stayed at the Sonora inn a couple of times now. It’s decent and clean, however it’s old and it seems like the owner struggles to keep up with upgrades and maintenance sometimes looks cheap and not properly installed. The potted plants and shrubbery around the property are dead and make it look rundown. They also have a very strict policy that check in is 4pm. You can pay $36 to check in early if a room is available. We arrived at 230pm and we needed a room sooner since we were traveling……

“It's a motel and the location is pretty good. Everything is in walking distance since it's a small town. Yet, the lodge is too old and it's on the main street. You can hear everything, even the snores next door.”

“We had a change of plans for our road trip and found this delightful B and B at the last minute. We were very pleasantly surprised; the property is beautiful architecturally, the hosts were really gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Murphy's is a little foodie haven with a bunch of local cellar doors open to the public, and historic goldrush era buildings in the surrounding villages. We didn't plan for tennis, but the hosts are both ex pros; so if tennis is your thing,……
