The Diversey Hotel is in the inner north of the city, close to Boystown, the gay area of Chicago. Many shops and restaurants are closeby. The double room we had was on the front of the building facing the busy Diversey Parkway street, which may be noisy for some people, but coming from a big city like London, UK we were used to big city noise and requested a room with a street view. “Beautiful courtyard entrance into an old property with updated roomy rooms and caring staff. Only complaint is to turn on the shower you have to get wet with cold water. Otherwise lovely property in a great walkable area. Will happily stay here again. ”

“Great hostel like property in Wicker Park. I stay here for business as it has a great business center. I have experienced both the dorm and individual rooms. Every time I have come it has been very clean, I get quick responses from management if I have an issue (door code not working) and most everyone I have met here have been friendly. Location is awesome. Walking distance to a Michelin star restaurant, great small pubs nearby, Jewl-Osco, Barnes and Noble, etc. Always very clean.”

“Lovely stay; room was perfect. Spacious, clean, elegant. Beautiful backyard courtyard with a waterfall fountain gave me a secluded space to relax outside in a very busy neighborhood. The neighborhood was awesome too, so much to see, eat and do. I also got the best massage of my life from the ruby room spa. ”

“I think it's a little quiet, as this is a house, so sometimes there may be only one person (you) in the house at night.”
