The room was clean, comfortable, and since I was between train trips I really appreciated the opportunity to do laundry in my unit. I was skeptical at first of the app-driven check-in and check-out. “Staff was exceptional. The room was unpretentious and I liked that. The negative is that it is very loud. Loud from the El running nearby but also loud in the interior. The interior has a lot of hard surfaces, no insulation. I also found the room service options to be limited. Having said that, the price per room was great and, again, it was the best staff experience I’ve had in terms of genuine warmth and helpfulness. The hotel should find a local restaurant to provide more room service options……
