“The hotel staff were excellent. The food was very good. The room was comfortable (accessible room) but could do with refresh. The carpet was quite stained in places, the tiles on floor of shower were sharp around the drain, the shower taps were roughly fixed to shower wall and very difficult to turn off, there was no air-conditioning in bedroom, no safe, and key card kept failing. The hotel also offered an indoor pool. However, it was always so busy as the hotel opens it up to non - residents.……

“We had a lovely one night stay recently for a wedding we were attending in the rivercourt hotel, it was amazing value for money. The man dealing with us on check in was so so kind and chatty, we had arranged early check in prior to our stay and this was absolutely no problem which was great. The rooms were spacious and the beds were so comfortable. Such a great stay we will definitely be back again. Denise & James. ”

“We arrived very early so the room wasn't ready understandably, they took our number and phoned us as soon as it was, which was 2 hours before check in. Room was spacious, spotless and comfortable. The staff were polite, helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and hot”

“A very good hotel in Kilkenny. This was our first time in Kilkenny and we wanted a nice place to stay hotel Kilkenny did not disappoint 👌 although its a bit of a walk into the centre of town for seeing around the sites the weather was good and we enjoyed the walk ☀️ taxis are also plentiful if you require one. We booked a room with breakfast and we paid a charge to have it delivered to the room. The food was very good so all round a good experience 😃”

“Refurbishing the room and they are lovely. Heated towel rack, deep tub and 2 shower heads. Excellent hot water as well. Ac/heater. Only issue was mattress was very firm and I like mine cozy and softer. Overall loved the hotel and location”

“We enjoyed our stay. It is a lively part of town, and we were there during the Music Festival. There was some maintenance to be done, and I have privately messaged the owner in hopes it is can be fixed so others do not have the same problem. ”
