“The staff were so friendly and welcoming and professional. We were given lots of useful advice for our stay. There's great facilities, beds were super comfy and breakfast was delicious! “Having stayed in Eton several times, always wanted to stay at Gilbey’s. Stayed in studio suite and it was fabulous. A safe area and close to Windsor Castle, shopping , many pubs and restaurants. Staff was lovely. Will definitely stay there again. ”

“Windsor was a great venue for our meeting of a group of friends and the Hotel was really good. The location was excellent, right between the castle (I had a wonderful view of the castle from room 461) and the Thames. Walking distance to two train stations. Plenty of good restaurants a few minutes walk from the hotel. Breakfast was good and the staff very attentive. The same is true for the front desk and concierge. There is at least one accessible room to be reserved. Ubers are plentiful and……

“The hotel is clean and there is a covered car park which is very good if you drive. The charge of the car park is £10 per day. The hotel is close to Legoland Windsor. The buffet dinner’s charge is £20 per adult which is value for money. One reason I chose this hotel is because it has a swimming pool. It was closed during my stay because of broken Pipe. I may stay in this hotel again next time maybe the day before I go to Heathrow.”

“Room was large and for the most part very nice, large windows with amazing views. However, the TV was falling off the wall and took two days to have fixed, the safe did not work either and was never really fixed, I was just given a Key so I could lock it. ”

“We had absolutely no heating. I tried several times to contact the owner by email, messenger and by phoning her. No reply. I had been in contact with her regarding check in via email and messenger, I even sent a photo of the temperature in the house. 10 degrees. I had to source 2 radiators myself, which a kind neighbour lent us. I would like a refund for our inconvenience ”

“Was meant to be a king bed but was a very small single. Poor soundproofing so hard to sleep as other residents were still up. Owner was helpful in the lead up to check in. Did the job but somewhat disappointing. ”
