“What a find base camp Snowdonia was. Very easy entry and check-in, as we arrived late and it was dark. The bedroom was very clean and the individual bunks with curtains made it very private, even though we were sharing. The whole place was very secure.”

“My son and I booked a two nights stay, as we were walking around snowdonia. Claire was a lovely host and very helpful. The room was good and we had our own bathroom and toilet. The breakfast was incredible both mornings too! We will be going back.”

“Stay here for 2 nights while we did the walk up snowdonia .The room was basic no frills but i wasn't expecting anything other than that. very clean and tidy. beds were comfortable, good shower and the use of a kettle and a kitchen unit on site which has everything you need. the staff were very helpful with local knowledge and tips on where to go etc. last but not least is the amazing views of the countryside. we must have said wow , look at that atleast 50 times. beautiful place . would love……

“A lovely old inn currently having some renovation work done, and the outside being painted Hence 4 stars for part of my review. It is in a beautiful location with stunning views all around. The staff are friendly and the place is spotless. The breakfasts are excellent and there is a good menu for evening meal choices. We really enjoyed our stay . ”

“Richard is very much the 'Host with the Most'. Very chatty and friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. He went above and beyond for us...Carrying our cases up to the top floor...And down again when we left. Plus he does a cracking packed lunch. Our room was more than adequate, comfy and clean. The only gripe from our point of view is that we'd prefer proper cups and spoons...”

“Comfortable room with en-suite toilet & shower. Pleasant staff, bar prices very reasonable. Good atmosphere in pub areas. Food not bad, (cheese sauce on nachos not good) Would recommend as a good base for surrounding attractions.”

“An enjoyable weekend break, the room was very spacious with a large bathroom and powerful shower. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a self service breakfast was available with cereals, bread for toasting (there was also bacon, scambled egg and beans available). There was off road parking on site for all those staying there. The booking in process prior to arrival was very clear and concise”
