“Brilliant staff, clean room and comfortable bed. Plumbing, namely water draining away shower/sink, was a little slow, which could cause the shower tray to flood into the bathroom. More an issue in the morning, possibly due to system capacity. Wedding party was a little noisy on one night, but to be expected.”

“Location wise this will not be for everyone as it is a little secluded, but for those whom are looking for a base to use that isn't Town / City centre it is ideal, beautiful setting with friendly and welcoming staff; this was my second stay in as many months and although not my usual choice of hotel (usually boutique / luxury hotels) I found myself submerged in the "quiet charm" of the hotel and staff; I would also add that the beds (mattress topper / linen) is worth of any 5* hotel that I have……

“Excellent service. Very old building so there a few things that are as best as they can be but are not what you may expect. For example, the tub is higher than normal and would be problematic if you are older. Heat seemed to be missing except in the bathroom. Still, we would easily stay there again when we return. ”

“The Caley Hotel has a lot of history in the buildings, but the rooms are fresh and modern, with all the necessary details. We were in a room in a small courtyard away from the bar and restaurant and it was very quiet. The staff were all lovely and helpful. “Beautifully decorated and appointed. Large TV in room. Comfortable bed. Only negative is that the room was hot so had to open window and nearby road is noisy. Also walls thin so could hear people in next room using bathroom, coughing etc. Which disturbed my sleep. ”
