“Had a great experience staying at The Pistachio Nut. Mike, the owner, was friendly and easy to communicate with. I had a couple questions before our trip, and they were answered very timely. The house itself was very nice. Clean, comfortable, had everything we needed. Loved the arcade room. We were there for a JMU graduation, and it was an easy distance to campus. Highly recommend!”

“The property was exactly as described for our five night stay last week. Everything was clean, and plenty of room to spread out for two families. The owners were very responsive and helped us out with one minor issue (quickly addressing & replacing some empty LP tanks). We couldn’t ask for a better stay, and we would absolutely love to go back again. Highly recommended!”

“The location is well apointed, clean, and unique in the Massanutten area for the attention to detail, cleanliness and amenities. The kitchen is very well equipped and easy to cook in, with a thoughtful inclusion of provisions like coffee and tea, pans for just about any meal, and plenty of dishware. The dining table is large (seats at least 8) and the living room is close enough to carry on conversation with those in the kitchen/dining area. Fireplaces in several rooms are a plus. The game room……

“The property is not designed for senior adults. Both beds were against the walls and couldn’t be moved. Couldn’t enjoy outdoors due to mosquitoes and ticks, also no Keurig, I brought my own. Tv had no local channels, but otherwise was fine”

“Check in was super easy ... and Oh SO CLOSE to Bryce. It was 2 families with 3 kids ... the set up was perfect. Home is super clean .. had everything we needed .. I would highly recommend and would stay here again for along weekend stay..!!”

“Traditional mountain cabin with great views and working wood stove for ambiance and heat. Clean and nice kitchen cooking supplies. Comfy beds. Few minutes to mountain and lake laura. Cons if you twisted my arm, not a ton of space inside for ski equipment, tight parking space/s. ”

“All in all we had a great stay! Property was generally as pictured and described. Very comfortable beds, kid and pet friendly. We drove in through a snow storm but made it safe with an AWD vehicle and assistance from a plow truck that happened to be in the neighborhood. House is at bottom of a pretty steep incline and is on stilts on the side of the mountain. More pictures would be helpful to renters.”

“It is hidden and on a river, it's really beautiful there. We were there when there was no other residence, so my pup and my grandchildren were able to play. It's in the front yard.The owner was very nice and accommodating”
