“This place is an absolute gem (and the hosts are wonderful). Extremely clean and well-kept. The kitchen is well-equipped with a variety of cookware and bakeware (we even found a Belgian waffle maker), all in great condition. Beds are very comfortable (not too firm, not too soft) with soft linens. The owners really care for the property. Hosts were super responsive before and after. “We had a wonderful long weekend at the Pistachio Nut. The owner Mike lives next door and is very helpful and can answer any questions you have about the house or surrounding Area. He was able to make some great diner suggestions to celebrate my MIL birthday. The arcade was a hit and has all the classics- my son was in heaven. “We stumbled upon this property after searching for somewhere fun to go for a couple of days during our kids spring break. This property didn’t disappoint! The game room and hot tub were a huge hit. Also, we ventured into WV for a day trip and then came back for a yummy dinner and the kids played pool at the Burn Barrel. The fact that all linens were included, plus we were able to bring our dogs were a major plus!!”

“It is hidden and on a river, it's really beautiful there. We were there when there was no other residence, so my pup and my grandchildren were able to play. It's in the front yard.The owner was very nice and accommodating”

“We loved our stay here. The property was super clean and quiet. The hot tub and grill both worked as advertised. One thing worth mentioning is that the last mile of road in is a single lane, gravel road, that not only crosses through what appears to be a creek but is also quite steep and rocky. While we managed in a Tesla model 3, I wouldn’t advise it, particularly if it is wet. ”

“The Luxury Moose Retreat was absolutely amazing!! I have stayed at several rental properties in Basye, VA over the years, but this one was outstanding. It's less than 1 mile from Bryce Resort. Drive way large enough for 6-8 cars. The kitchen is spacious, more than enough counter space, high quality utensils, pots, pans, gas stove, there's even a wine fridge! The bedrooms are spacious, bright, clean, beautiful. There was not a single thing during our stay that we were inconvenienced……
