“We had a wonderful time visiting the Shenandoah area while staying with extended family. We all had plenty of room both inside and outside and the amount of bedrooms and bathrooms allowed for comfortably while being away from home. The kids spent all of their time in the pool, while the adults had a great space in the outside area to enjoy late evenings. ”

“The pool, board games, and game room/garage were big hits with our kids (ages 6-18). There was plenty of outdoor seating, a dining table large enough for us all to sit around, and (this is unusual for homes we've rented) large enough pots and pans to cook for our crew of 9! Communication with the hostess was excellent. If you plan to kayak, do make sure you have a vehicle that can haul the kayaks to the river; it's not possible to walk there. Overall, we really enjoyed this place and……

“Beautiful home with serene views of the river, very quiet and peaceful. River access was easy with stairs right to it and TWO decks over looking. The screen porch is an added bonus with hot tub. Plenty of towels, washing clothes provided. Check in was very easy & communication was great! The pup enjoyed it as much as we did, the weather was very hot (recird breaking) the window units kept up the best they could to keep us cooled. Plenty of wood for the firepit as well as tubes, kayaks for the……

“Our family of 4 came for 4 days to do some hiking and exploring in Shanendoah.The house is on the river, so peaceful and quiet. We LOVED the firepit. It was great for family time. ”

“The cabin was perfect for an overnight stay. It was so secluded and the woods were beautiful. We were able to walk to the winery/brewery down the road and spent a lovely night by the fire. We were comfortable sleeping in the cabin with the windows open. The farm was very cool although the llama (alpaca?) didn't seem to like me :) The owner was amazing and went above and beyond when we left something behind. Would definitely recommend as a unique overnight stay. ”
