“We experienced the beauty of a mountain snowstorm and it was awesome! We enjoyed the gorgeous view sitting by the fireplace and feeling super cozy. Nina the owner was so thoughtful, checking on us, suggesting a good place for our car during the storm so that we wouldn’t get stuck when it came time to go home, even cleaning our car off for us! That was above and beyond—thank you, Nina. The cabin is as pictured and well appointed. We plan to return here. ”

“We had a great time celebrating New Years at the cabin. We made use of all amenities, said hi to the horses, and enjoyed our stay. ”

“Beautiful setting”

“My husband and I along with our 2 small dogs had a wonderful stay at this lovely mountain retreat. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed to cook breakfast and an easy dinner each evening. The property was beautiful with lots of tall old growth trees that were beautiful with the fall colors and even though it was in a community you felt like you were in a secluded mountain retreat because most of the homes were obsured by the trees; and it is on a dead end road……

“The cabin is in great shape. The hot tub fits 4 adults comfortably. The owner and property manager were very easy to get in touch with and responsive. The location is way out at the end of a long dirt road. So it’s best if you have an SUV or truck to get there, especially in the winter. And be prepared to drive almost an hour to get to the nearest grocery store because you have to drive around 25 mph for about 10 miles from the cabin. We would definitely rent from this company and this cabin……

“This place checks all the boxes! It’s a cozy place with a great view and hot tub. The only niggle is the door to the patio has a crack in it so air seeps through. Otherwise, fantastic place! ”

“This little cabin is perfect for escaping from the big city for the weekend. We came with plans for hiking and seeing the caverns, and wound up staying in the cabin for most of the weekend with a bottle of wine. Very relaxing and lovely. ”

“We took a long weekend away to visit with some friends of ours who live in Boston. The house was perfect in both size and coziness! We loved the hot tub (even in frigid temps!) and the fireplace. The kitchen was well-appointed and the fresh local coffee beans were such a nice touch!! Will definitely make it a point to stay with Mountain Mama Cabins in the future!”

“Our family of 7 had a great 4 night stay here. The location is so nice with mountain views. The river was great, my husband caught his 1st fish fly-fishing. The house is set up nicely and comfortably. Plenty of beds & 3 bathrooms. Would definitely recommend. ”
