“The home is absolutely charming! Mary and Donald were so sweet and helpful, we felt very warmly welcomed. The room was a bit small, but the bathroom was large and comfortable! Breakfast was filling and fresh, it’s clear lots of love and care go into it. The only issue we ran into was frequency of buses and trains, but if you’re willing to walk for 20 minutes to the train station you can get into Edinburgh within an hour. ”

“This was a wonderful place to stay to enjoy Stirling. We had a very clean, comfortable, spacious room. Breakfast was excellent. The location is ideal for us - a beautiful, quiet setting near a great restaurant. You could walk into Stirling but it was easy for us to use the park-and-ride bus since we didn’t want to walk. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I only wish we would have stayed longer. Definitely recommend!”

“This was an absolute gem of a place. The owners were so thoughtful and provided just about every kind of tea, coffee, wagon wheels, tunics tea cakes and a cracking breakfast ! Room was compact but contained everything one needed when doing the west highland way and it is literally on route (about 6’ away). So much nicer than the enormous campsite hippy hobbit house place and the saga-bus-holiday hotel.”

“It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. The hosts were charming and attentive. It was fun to talk with them and the other guests, and the breakfast (made specially for each guest) was some of the best food I had while in the UK. The bathroom was pretty small, and the shower was one of those stand-alone ones that looks a bit like a box, but the bathroom and room were always very clean. The parking was a bit tight when every spot was full (I had a large rental car), but there was enough space……
