“If you are looking to stay in a traditional English Pub, this is the place. Cozy rooms with great washroom facilities. Very clean and comfortable beds. Rooms are equipped with electricity outlets, wifi and tv for those needing it. The pub itself is fantastic with a very well stocked bar. The restaurant serves home cooked meals with a great selection of local produce. From this location you are pretty central to either coast and Dartmoor itself. “Arrived just before check room was ready Staff did have to juggle between bar/ reception and serving meals so a little slow at times. Hubby was a bit disappointed with his lamb as had watched other people in the day getting bigger portions but tasted lovely.Anna was so helpful and Millie only saw her 1 evening but really helpful. Our dog was even given a sausage for breakfast lovely touch. The ladies cleaning the rooms were lovely. ”
