“We have stayed at the old stone trough a few times now and what makes it such a pleasurable stay is the staff, you recieve such a welcomming friendly approach at all times. Staff are helpful and accomodating so polite and friendly. The rooms are always clean and layed out nicely Overall just a great place to stay.”

Easy to get the right temperature and pressure. The whole bathroom suite looked like it was relatively new. No mold no water damage anywhere even the grouting was clean. “This is a good hotel built at a Services Area suitable for breaks in between journeys. Staying in for one night is nit a bad idea except that its location is not that easy to find.”

“No complaints of note other than the doors were pretty loud when others closed their doors. It could be heard pretty clearly which disturbed some rest”

“Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The bed was huge and very comfortable. We had a disabled access which was great. Only negative. No air conditioning, but we asked for a fan and we were given a large fan on a stand, which was sufficient. Breakfast was fantastic good quality and freshly made.”
