“400 year old building the room was very nice and clean and the staff was very helpful. The floors and stairs are a bit noisy (creaky) but it’s obviously going to be given the age of the building it’s quite stunning also has a nice courtyard and a safe carpark round the back. Overall fantastic weekend stay wouldn’t mind doing it again ”

“Brilliant staff, clean room and comfortable bed. Plumbing, namely water draining away shower/sink, was a little slow, which could cause the shower tray to flood into the bathroom. More an issue in the morning, possibly due to system capacity. Wedding party was a little noisy on one night, but to be expected.”

“The Caley Hotel has a lot of history in the buildings, but the rooms are fresh and modern, with all the necessary details. We were in a room in a small courtyard away from the bar and restaurant and it was very quiet. The staff were all lovely and helpful. It would be nice to see even more of the local seafood on the menu, but the sea bass and rock bass were both very good. “The check-in was located in the pub adjacent to the hotel. All meals were taken in the pub. The amenities surrounding the hotel were very sparse (the aforementioned pub, and a garage (which had a decent shop within it). There were new amenities being built adjacent to the hotel, which will give greater options on future visits. For a business trip, I found the facilities to be excellent.”

“Lovely Victorian/Edwardian hotel. We had a very spacious sunlight filled room on the third floor (no lift). Shower open ended without door or curtain 😕 and water ended up all over the bathroom… Breakfast was full English cooked to order with array of fruits and cold options. Would stay again.”

“It was our first time ever experiencing Glamping and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to do it than Green Haven. My wife, our little Chorkie and I were staying in Barn Owl and it was perfect. We were actually around 40 minutes early for our check-in at 2pm but Keeley and Glen made us feel so welcome, like long lost friends, we immediately felt at home. We were given a tour of the site, including the spotless shower and toilet facilities, the beautiful gardens and stunning well stocked……

“Beautifully decorated and appointed. Large TV in room. Comfortable bed. Only negative is that the room was hot so had to open window and nearby road is noisy. Also walls thin so could hear people in next room using bathroom, coughing etc. Which disturbed my sleep. ”
