“Luckily we arrived in daylight, as the road up to the Osteria zig-zagged in impossible hairpins up from the valley. It's possible that after dark and unlit we might just have turned around and headed for somewhere flat. However, if we had done we would have missed a completely unique experience. The hamlet of Anzonico clings to the side of an Alp and there is no vehicle access to the Osteria. Parking is in a lay by about 50 yards further up. Having walked back with our luggage, we were greeted……

“We had an absolutely magical stay. Loved reading in the morning, sledding in the afternoon, and exploring the village of Gimmelwald and Murren. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast and dinners in the pension as well as nightly beer and hot chocolate.”

“Nice appartement, its very pretty and the kitchen is fully equiped. Well situated in the centre of Tegna, the children took the train to Locarno while we went hiking and climbing in Val Maggia. Only minus point is the church bells, (you are in the centre of town!) but you get used to them after a couple of days. ”

“Sauber, freundlich, bequem. Das Gemeinschaftsbad ist Geschmackssache, aber ich habe damit kein Problem gehabt. Ich habe hier sehr gut geschlafen und die Einrichtung ist sehr sauber. Nachts war es auch sehr ruhig und am Morgen habe ich allein die Kaffeemaschine gehört. Empfang war auch sehr angenehm und es gab keine Probleme. Ich kann die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.”

“Excelente opción cerca a saint Moritz. Parada de bus a 3 minutos del hotel, supermercado a 5 min . Se duerme delicioso”
