“We have stayed at Founders Inn for multiple visits to the Virginia Beach area. Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. We love the easy access on and off Interstate 64. It sits close enough for day visits to the beach, but has a nice size swimming pool if you just want to stay put. The restaurant has a great staff and the food is good. We will stay there again when in the area. ”

“The chairs were dirty in the initial room we checked into, however the staff moved us to another room. The only problem there is that the base of the toilet was dirty. I informed guest services ”

“The accommodations could benefit from some attention, as I was limited to using only one outlet in the room. While daily housekeeping is a positive aspect, the overall appearance of the place seemed somewhat unkempt. Additionally, there was an unpleasant odor emanating from the area near the ice machine, which made me hesitant to use the ice. However, the front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and professional. It seems the value aligns with the price, making it suitable for a short stay……

“Arrived and the manager had already given pur reservation to someone else. The lady at the front desk had to call the manager, then the person they gave our reservation to in order to close out their reservation. 1 ice machine on the second floor, was out of order. Toilet was like a rocking chair. Trash still on the balcony along with a random bed pillow. However, the front desk worker was a pleasure to talk to. Just a reminder, it's not their fault the owners fail to put money towards the……

“Our stay was amazing. We were able to check in early as I arrived at 11am and check in was not until 3 but once they found out we drove all night from Florida they checked to see if a room was ready and let us check in. Room was very spacious and being able to cook for my son in law was a huge plus! The best part was being able to do a fast super early am check out when we left. We will definitely be back ”
