“房間大，清潔很好。但沒有空調是個大問題, 晚上不方便開啟窗戶通風，因在地上的房間窗戶開啟外面的人就很易進入，擔心保安問題。房間的窗戶不能有效通風。房間只有風扇，晚上會很熱。我發現由數年前開始已有很多評論反映沒有空調這個大問題，酒店都不大算改進，只推說紐西蘭空調不流行，實際上整個旅程只住了這一間酒店是沒有空調。而房間價格是十分昂貴”

“Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The room was big and it had everything I needed for the night. The space was mostly clean but there we’re definitely places that were missed. I did not see a member of staff until I left the next day and saw housekeeping from a distance. To check in I had to find my name on a list and let myself into the room- the door was wide open. The check in isn’t really an issue but I did have a couple of issues with the bath and there was no one to speak to. The jacuzzi bath……

“We booked 5 rooms at web with all the condition like kids. We got price offered after, but owner charged us $25 more per room after we arrived plus extra fee for two kids at different room, year 5 and 3. This owner must really short of money. We have room party after dinner, owner refused to clean next morning. We cleaned ourselves but charged $200 cleanig fee after we left. Checked with owner for any policy, said dont need.”

“We stayed in the Kauri chalet and really liked it. The view is great. The connecting room, Rata’s view is even better, but that room is much smaller. If you are a bigger group, booking these two rooms together will be perfect. We woke up to the birdsongs and had a peaceful breakfast on the balcony. The stairs bring the charm to the place and we did not mind the extra steps. Owner/staff are very friendly. PAKnSAVE is only 6 minutes drive away.”
