“We stayed at Achill Guest House for one night before starting a canal boat trip from Alvechurch Marina. We appreciated that it is a family-run guest house with a funky charm one doesn’t find in a chain hotel, even if the walls are a little thin and we could hear our neighbors a little bit. But there were dead flies and dead hornets on the carpet where the carpet met the wall , at least 30 all around the edges of the room. Whom ever vacuums the room needs new glasses.
