“We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Deer Meadow! The home had everything a family would need to have an outstanding and memorable time. We also were close to South Dakota special areas including Deadwood, Lead, Spearfish Canyon, Custer Park, Rapid City. We enjoyed it all! We rode horses at Andy's in Lead; We enjoyed wine at Belle Jolie vineyard in Sturgis, Filet mignon at Alpine Inn in Hill City and so much more! We had daily visits from deer - and we had a snow day. “This is a gorgeous, out-of-the-way property. The view of the canyon and the night sky are worth every minute of the drive out of the way. The owner has gone out of the way to provide quality bed linens and towels, a clean grill on the deck, comfortable furnishings inside and out; even the fireplace was ready-all we had to do was light it up! Peaceful, gorgeous and beautiful stay!”
