“A really lovely place to stay. Warm and friendly welcome, beautifully presented throughout and very comfortable and clean rooms. “Superb stay. Gorgeous old pub. Rooms were fabulous. We had a family room which was enormous with a lovely comfy bed for us and a sofa bed for the children. Lovely en-suite with the best shower I’ve ever used in a hotel. Dinner and breakfast were great. Breakfast had several options and was cooked to order. Highly recommend. ”

“The proprietor was very welcoming, the room was clean and tidy. There was also tea,coffee, biscuits and water available in the room. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. They do not do breakfast but the proprietor recommended places where we could obtain an evening meal with a pint of real ale and also some breakfast the following morning. Would definitely stay there again. ”

“I wasn’t happy it’s not a real hotel but that was forgotten as soon as I walked in. Beautiful room with an amazing hot tub and fireplace. I could have spent the whole vaca here. I relaxed and slept well. Highly highly recommend and will stay here again for sure!”

“The Royal is a great hotel situated in the quaint village of Heysham. We loved our stay. Lots of nice walks and history. The hotel has a very relaxed and chilled atmosphere. The food is excellent and all staff are friendly and display excellent communication and customer service skills. Everwhere is spotlessly clean. Free parking is an added bonus. We will be returning soon and I will recommend the Royal to my friends and family.”
