“We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. We had to place a folder to block the view! 3. It was very hot in the room! Good for this winter weather if course, but was hard to……

“House was clean and comfortable. E-biking the Blackwater Canyon Trail to Hendricks and back was wonderful, the trail is feet from the house. Nearby Douglas Falls is great. Blackwater Falls State Park is just a few miles away. So many other outdoor activities nearby. We picked this destination because my wife began researching her genealogy a few years ago and found that her mother’s family was deeply embedded in the history of Tucker County.
