“Nice but in my opinion some of the rooms need a refurb ”

“This beautiful, comfortable Hotel is in the heart of Saxmundham, moments from the station. The Helpful Staff, Callum, was wonderful. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would stay again.”

“The room was great, lovely quiet location and staff were very helpful. Having the suite was a real treat although a shelf or platform by the freestanding bath and extra toiletries would have been nice. The property is ideal for an exclusive break but looking a bit tired in places, they could make much more of the gardens, which looked rather unkept, but perhaps the time of year was a factor. Unfortunately the fine dining options were not available, which for a bank holiday weekend was……

“An old English local pub/hotel. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Nice evening meals. Suited my needs of 'a bed for the night'. The room was clean with TV, kettle, tea, coffee and milk.”

“Stayed here for a 2 night break. Friendly welcome and a lovely room (The Hayloft). Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and cereal to start and a nice home cooked breakfast. Great touch with having a toaster on the table to toast the delicious bread and enjoy the marmalade. Breakfast was efficient with no waiting. Liz and John have a delightful place for a stay.”

“We were made to feel very welcome. The room was well equipped but had character. Continental breakfast was available or a cooked breakfast could be ordered. We ate our evening meal in the pub. We were well looked after. The menu was more than traditional pub fare with plenty of specials. The portions were generous, attractively served and delicious. We would definitely stay again. ”

“We were at Snetterton race track for three days. The hotel is just 15 mins from the track, I have stayed here at the Townhouse hotel previously and will always come back. OK - The hotel is a little tired but there’s a comfy bed and a pub across the road. That’s what matters. Parking is in a public car park adjacent to the hotel. It’s a quiet village. There are four pubs in the village. One is opposite the hotel. The rooms are fairly dated and the hot water comes through after a minute or……
