“I've stayed here on a number of occasions over the last decade and a bit. I've always found it to be friendly, with good beer and good food. My only reservations are that in colder months, the chalets can be a bit on the cool side despite having heaters. However, on this occasion, I was in one of the newer rooms and the bathroom was nice and warm in the morning and best of all contained a walk-in shower stall, far better than clambering over a bath tub! The pub itself has remained a decent……

“The accommodation itself couldn't be faulted. Friendly staff, fresh towels daily, all very nice. I would however strongly recommend an out-of-hours point of contact in the event of getting locked out of the room. In fairness, it's entirely my own fault that I locked myself out to begin with (won't be forgetting that mistake in a hurry). But if it wasn't for an upstairs tenant being able to get hold of the correct person to let me back in, I would've had no choice but to try to sleep……

“We had a lovely weekend stay at this apartment. It was spotlessly clean, modern and very comfortable-perfect for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were cosy and the whole place had a fresh, welcoming feel. The only small thing we noticed was that there weren’t many mirrors, which would have been handy-but that didn’t take away from the overall great experience. Would definitely stay again! ”
