“Tewkesbury Hotel has a great location with beautiful views, and there are a few nice trails nearby that you can access from the golf course. Breakfast was fantastic, but the main menu was a bit hit or miss. The bar was okay — good wine selection, including some great British wines, but it was a shame there weren’t any premium spirits. The room we ended up with was really nice, though we had some issues with the first one. Thankfully, the staff sorted it quickly and we were happy with how it was……

“I like the location being not right in a town but a short distance of drive from places such as Bibury and Cirencester. The room is on the small side but sufficient for our purpose. The inn faces an open ground with tables for drinkers and a creek which gave a good mix of environment. The rate was super reasonable which made me initially thought that breakfast was not included and turned out to be inclusive. We ate dinner one night and the food was incredible. “The room was fine. A shame the toilet seat was obviously loose and wouldn’t stay up. Also told on arrival that evening food wasn’t available, which wasn’t really a problem with an Indian restaurant just up the road but it isn’t what I would have chosen to eat. Having food available on site is the main reason I book here. I have stayed many times and hope to stay again soon.”
