“Location is convenient for everything, shopping, restaurants and beach. Front staff and concierges are friendly. Room is good with the ocean view, but the bathroom is too small. ”

“I stayed 3nights at the Proper Hotel in Santa Monica. 2days , the house keeping didn’t clean the room. I was a little disappointed with it. ”

“Amazing location ”

“Had a disappointing experience with the valet service. When I arrived and gave my last name, the valet repeatedly questioned it and made me spell it several times, while giving me a very dismissive and judgmental look. It felt like my name was being treated as strange or unacceptable. This kind of behavior made me feel deeply disrespected as a guest. A hotel of this level should ensure that all staff treat people with equal courtesy and professionalism, regardless of their name or background.”

“You won’t find a better deal in Santa Monica. The hotel is clean, conveniently located near the beach and attractions, and offers free parking, which is a big plus. The only downside is that the cleaning staff occasionally entered our room while we were still inside. Although they knocked beforehand, they came in a bit too quickly, which was a bit surprising.”

“This was a great place to stay. Cozy and comfortable. Very clean. Excellent staff. Quiet neighborhood and close to fit and other activities. Would definitely stay again.”

“Overall, the hotel room was clean (looked like it had been recently remodeled) and had all the basics I needed for one night, but it was difficult to sleep because of the traffic on Lincoln Blvd. I also had other people going in and out of their rooms next to and below me that made a lot of noise when the doors slammed, and it kept going on right up until midnight. No coffee maker in the room (one is located in the small lobby), and no free breakfast. Otherwise, it was a pretty good hotel.”

“Cute hotel near a Whole Foods and plenty of small dining options in a cute neighborhood. Room nicely appointed and bed is comfy. Would definitely stay again. ”

“Property is older but has everything we needed for comfort by the beach. They provide beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas too which was great. You can even sign out a bike too. ”
