“We really enjoyed our stay! The property is conveniently located, beautiful (as pictured), clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very well appointed with the basics you may need (much better than most other rentals). The furnishings and set up were all very well thought out. The hosts were responsive and helpful without being intrusive. They were generous/above and beyond with offering fresh squeezed orange juice and welcoming to our young children. Would absolutely visit again.”

“We have stayed in several rentals, and this one was better furnished than any. It was very comfortable and clean. The host checked in to make sure everything was right, and it was. Beds were great, plenty of linens, and the kitchen was more than fully stocked. The only complaint I had was the bbq. It was a Coleman portable and needs to be replaced, although I made it work. I still give this place 5 stars and would give it 6 if possible.”

“The title pretty sums it up. It is a great property and we had a fun time and enjoyed our stay. Only negatives were that the bed is not very comfortable, and also the sound proofing is not very good so unless you have a fan on or something you'll be able to hear traffic and trains throughout the night. ”

“This cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway to Santa Barbara. I would definitely recommend for any couple looking for a place to stay near Santa Barbara. Summer land is also a very nice little town”

“Enjoyed staying here. Really nice location for walking around downtown Carp. Clean and comfortable with a super easy check-in/check-out process. Awesome communication with property manager as well. Thank you! ”

“My wife and I really liked this property because of the fenced in yard with hot tub and putting greens. Given we had two kids under 3, they needed to be able to run when we were there. My three year old loved calling the loft his bedroom! Would stay there again.”

“This house has a great location, walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops and just a few minutes from the beach. The beds were very comfortable and the house had everything you need for stay. We happened to stay during a heat wave and found that it took quite awhile for the PLUG- IN AC to cool place off. The owner also requested us to turn this off while we were not in the home, texting us about it during our stay to remind us. This was a little frustrating as we booked this home……

“The casita behind the main house is lovely! Very private and beautifully decorated with everything you need for an amazing stay. The location is just a few blocks off State Street so everything is walkable to the restaurants, shops and stores. There is also a little grocery store only 1 block away if you need to pick up some drinks and snacks. Would definitely stay again!”

“We appreciated the fresh flowers, novelty cat decor, and cozy ambiance of the 2 bedroom cottage (Woodford). Hospitality and communication was top notch. Caroline gave us a warm greeting and all the info we needed about the cottage and the area. Isabelle was helpful in coordinating our stay too. Breakfasts were OUTSTANDING! During our five day stay, we enjoyed a unique spread cooked to perfection every morning. It is almost impossible to pick a favorite: the quiche, the blueberry french toast,……

“Our family needed a place to stay for a couple months while Mom was in the nearby hospital and this beautiful detached apartment was absolutely perfect for our needs. The pictures matched our first impression. The outdoor area was a peaceful place for relaxing. The unit was clean. The bed is a full size King. The full bathroom met our needs. “Place was as described. Plenty of room for my family and close to our daughter at Westmont. Space and amenities were convenient. Property next to freeway and busy road. But sound machine in the bedrooms drown out the noise. Didn’t bother us. ”

My wife and I loved being able to take a walk to Chad’s for brunch and later on a walk just across the street to walk to the beach and pier.
