“There were strands of long hair in the bathroom when I checked in and walked into my hotel room. Obviously the room wasn’t cleaned properly.”

“Very clean and comfortable and easy access from the Amtrak and the capitol. Room felt fresh and the staff is very kind and helpful. I was able to print a few things as well. The building is old like everything around here but very comfortable ”

“Cool hotel based on the historic Route 66. Service at the front desk was wonderful. Stayed in a basic two bed room. The mattresses were on the "well used side", which was the only ding I give the place (the room had a ductless heating/cooling unit installed, so the mattresses could've been a bit nicer.”

“Free homemade chocolate chip cookies brought to our door hot at 8:00.pm!!”

“It's nothing fancy but it was clean and serves our purposes. We reqlly just needed clean beds and a shower. It was quiet at night. No problems. ”

“We enjoyed our stay. The only downside is the train that runs throughout the night. The house is right by an intersection, so the train has to blow the horn as it passes over it. The owner was easy to work with and was responsive when I needed to reach out.”
