“Chime Cottage was absolutely charming! It had everything we needed—cozy, cute, and perfectly functional. The space was thoughtfully designed and felt like a true home away from home. We especially appreciated the comfy bed, the lovely bath to relax in after long days of hiking, and the cozy wood burner that made the evenings extra special.We walked into Bradwell from Hope Station—about 2 miles—so a bit of a walk, but totally doable and a great way to soak in the scenery. “This was a lovely stay in a nice peaceful location and very easy to find. I would suggest it would be a stretch for 6 people but for a couple or family with 2-3 kids it would be perfect especially if the kids needed separate rooms. Hosts were great with very good communication throughout. Definitely would return again. Hosts were love”

“The Property is situated perfectly in the peaks with amazing panoramic views. You are surrounded by peaks, big skies & wildlife as well as the permanent residence on the Farm, horses, sheep (shout out to Jack the Ram, friendliest sheep I have met) & chickens. Inside the cottage is cosy, well equipped & clean. Beds are comfy, 2 bathrooms always a bonus & it's quiet. We are already planning our next trip.”

“I loved it here. Jo is very friendly and welcoming, she ensures you have everything required and nothing is too much for her. The cottage is well equipped with a WC, main bathroom, and an en-suite shower room. WiFi, and a fully functional kitchen with a full size fridge/freezer, and a skinny dishwasher. There is also an electric car charger, but we didn’t use it and not sure if it is part of the package. The beds were a bit too hard for us, but that’s a personal preference because we have back……

“We frequently stay in holiday properties and so know what you can get for £140 / night and sadly this was not up to the standards we would expect. The cottage is lovely, in a lovely sertting but it is very damp with mould around the windows and mildew on the curtains. It was not clean, the tiles in the bathroom were mouldy, under the furniture were dead woodlouse and other remnants of insects, cobwebs everywhere and the lavatory off the main bedroom was very poorly cleaned. “A lovely weekend. Warm welcome (and warm cake!), a well equipped cottage and comfortable beds. We walked, we swam, we ate and we had a thoroughly good time. Looking forward to coming again. ”
