“Check in was problematic. Although I'd booked using an Amex through Expedia, the hotel does not actually take this method of payment. This led to an embarrassing situation when my alternative card could not be accepted by their system. Luckily a separate terminal appeared and I was able to pay but all round, a poor check in experience which left me embarrassed in front of my partner.”

“We had a xmas party to go to for the evening so was looking for a reasonably priced B and B as only wanted a bed for the night. We were sooo lucky to have found this little gem right in the centre of Newquay, owner was very attentive as was the waitress at breakfast. Room was lovely and clean, and breakfast was scrummy. We will definitely recommend you, and book again if we are out in Newquay, thankyou soo much 😉”

“A return to the St Moritz after 5 years and we were delighted to see it was still as great as we remembered with lovely, smiling and helpful staff throughout. We stayed in a first floor seaview suite, which had plenty of room for 3 of us. A nice balcony, which sadly didn't get any use during our February visit! Cowshed products in the bathroom, games in the cupboards, lots of wardrobe and drawer space. Breakfast was included with a good selection of fresh fruit, pastries and cooked food all……

“Warm and comfortable stay. Friendly staff and lovely restaurant. Apartment well equipped and very dog friendly. Beds very comfy. Very quiet and we slept well. Decor tired and needs redecorating as peeling paint in areas and walls marked. Otherwise lovely stay. ”

“4 night break with family in half term. Hotel was new when we stayed so everything was fresh and in spoiled by others. Room was great, nice bathroom and lounge area. Kitchen well stocked to do basic cooking in terms of utensils etc. food at the restaurant was a bit lacking in choice, however was very tasty. No complaints here. ”

“Really lovely hotel and spa! For the money I'd have preferred to not look out the window to the horrible looking roof though! The food was delicious breakfast staff were so lovely bed really comfy! We'll definitely recommend and come again 😃”

“Excellent and comfy....nice location. Poor phone signal if on the 02 network. Internet was great in public areas but poor in the room. Great comfy beds, and an excellent powerful shower. Great space and lovely cushions. Staff were helpful when engaged. Great o cation short walk to the beach and close to the twin of Newquay for shopping.”
