“Had an unplanned layover in Portland while getting repair work done on my Sprinter Van. An employee at Outside Van recommended McMenamins Edgefield and really glad I chose this place. Unique lodging experience and fabulous dinner and breakfast at the pub and restaurant in the main lodge. Much better than staying at a chain hotel! Would have liked to take advantage of the billiards, but didn’t have anyone to play with. Would definitely stay here again if I’m in the Portland area!”

“Wonderful location to stay in Troutdale, great location with easy access. Updated super clean room with all of the amenities. Hotel staff was great. Free breakfast buffet, pool and an additional laundry area. ”

“The homeless are on the other side of fence, and i have great empathy however things were stolen out of the bed of our truck, and in a homeless mans wagon. We just moved here from out of state, and too tired to get storage that night. ”

“This was a great little spot - nice to have the garage to unload boots and gear before getting in the house. We arrived at the house about 2 hours before check in but were hoping to even just park one car there before going up the mountain. Anna responded so fast to our request that we were able to get in early without any trouble. Thanks for a great stay”

“Took the family up to Mt. Hood to celebrate a birthday and for one last hurrah before starting a new job. This house was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 3 dogs - from the great layout, location, and accommodations to the fully fenced yard and hot tub this place has everything u need and more to fully enjoy a retreat at the mountain. We have stayed here before and will certainly come again soon! ”

“We had a brief stay but enjoyed our time at Michele’s. We had what we needed: Big comfy bed, huge TV (which we never used), plenty of hot water with good pressure, coffee, treats, refrigerator and microwave, and a super friendly tortie cat. There was also a black lab who was so eager to play fetch, but our time was limited and she was fenced in (we probably could’ve just gone through a gate). I did play fetch briefly over the fence - one amazingly fast dog. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub……
