“Was exactly what I needed for a solo bday trip to the area. Minimal, friendly, clean. Didn’t mind that it’s obvious the place has been there a while. The parking lot has a huge pothole, which isn’t great. Just drive around it and be grateful for the great price and nature at your doorstep.”

“What a pleasant surprise! We needed a hotel in Leesburg for one night and my sister who lives there said this hotel just opened. I loved the location, the decor and the staff was very welcoming! I would highly recommend for a quaint and new place to stay with lovely atmosphere and attentive staff. Close to everything in Leesburg except you need to drive to outlets!”

“Stayed at the Light Horse Inn for two nights. Absolutely loved it. You have to manage expectations because this isn't an ultra modern hotel with a restaurant, bar workout facilities, etc. However if you love history, antiques and the charm of a very unique stay, Light Horse Inn is for you. The room was very large and decorated with timeless antiques. They are very responsive via text for any questions, concerns. The chef, I believe her name was Megan made me a to go breakfast because I could……

“Enjoyed a 2 nite stay here while attending CATF theatre festival in Shepherdstown. Enjoyed the outdoor hottub after biking on C&O Canal towpath, and fantastic country breakfasts. Views to the west over Antietam battlefields are spectacular! Hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming, including the talking parrot! ”
