“The cabin stay was wonderful for the whole family ( age range 8 to 72). The cabin is full of character, history and charm with all the modern conveniences. In spite of some pretty chilly weather the family enjoyed fishing, loved the hot tub and enjoyed the outdoor fireplace. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals . The Christmas decorations were lovely - a home away from home. I highly recommend the Cedar Cabin and we definitely hope to return. Thank you Patty and……

“Drive to property made you feel off the beaten path. The property was as advertised. Comfy beds. Nice kitchen. Really enjoyed the decks especially viewing comet and Orion meteor showers. Lots of wildlife; turkey, deer, owls, ducks and bald eagle. ”

“The rolling river in front of the cabin was for sure beautiful. Loved the great condition of the pans in this rental...rare excellent condition. Bed was not comfortable (needs a box spring or pillow top added.) Would advise anyone going here to slow down when you see the dump trailer rentals, the road to cabins leads in there. It was not marked, owner said that trucks keep knocking sign down but the way our GPS led us, we would have missed it, had we arrived in the dark. Overall, it is a good……

“This cabin was a short drive from downtown Abingdon but so much land around that it felt secluded (which we loved). It is just a short walk to the Creeper Trail.”
