Some suggestions for future improvements. 1) upgrade bathroom shower2) make the kitchen floor level3) eliminate musty odor throughout home. 4) Repair/replace screen door on backdoor. 5) tighten screws/fasteners for living room coffee table (wobbles and unstable)”

“This little place had everything you would need. The only thing was the propane fire pit was not working. The bed was extremely comfortable. The backyard was very nice and relaxing. not in a great neighborhood, but that is no fault of the owner.”

“Perfect location, layout & amenities for our adult short term mission team to work in the Mountain City area on repairs of damages from Hurricane Helene. ”

“The house was set up perfect for a couple to stay! The only thing that really ended up being negative was the neighbors dogs barking late at night. ”

“I stayed at this house for a weekend trip. The house was very clean. Had a lot of towels, linens and blankets, which we really liked. We have a toddler who is two years old and it was very toddler friendly. We liked that it didn’t have a bunch of breakables on the shelves and was very simple. We have stayed in multiple properties on different renting sites and this one was one of the cleanest ones we had been in. We also really felt welcome in the neighborhood of the neighbors across the street……

While this cottage is beautiful, and a peaceful respite in a town that has recently experienced the ravages of Hurricane Helene... be forewarned... you will find yourself surrounded by the MAGA faithful at this location. Expect the oversized flags... pit bulls... run down properties... and plenty of divisive pronouncements from the bumpers of pickup trucks. With that said... I never felt threatened by it... and openly walked through all of it, into town and……
