“We had a wonderful time staying at Wedmore. Property was nice and the restaurant had good food. We got some wine to bring back. The highlight was definitely the room. The room was awesome, we didn’t want to leave. We would come back again. ”

“Colonial houses are an opportunity to stay right in the midst of historic Williamsburg . The location could not be any more convenient. We stayed at Brick House Tavern on the second floor. The bed was comfortable and the room nicely decorated. However the rooms were last updated about 30-40 years ago estimating by the fixtures, etc. The rooms rates are reasonable based on location but are not reasonable based on the out of date locks (old fashioned brass keys) , bathroom plumbing and scarcity……

“This is a quaint property in a perfect location! We were visiting William &Mary and were able to walk to everything from this location. It is super charming and the owner and staff were very friendly! Breakfast was excellent as well!”

“I was expecting more from the room accommodations, because of the price. The restaurant was very nice with excellent service. Pricey as to be expected. However, the room was really dated and mediocre. Almost had a dingy feel. It had two landline phones, one even in the bathroom (lol), and neither worked. I drove around to 3 different locations to find ice, bc 2 out of the 3 machines were broken. The only reason I’d stay here again is if I got a really good deal. The rooms really need some……

“Our stay at Hampton Inn was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and everything we tried was fresh and delicious with coffee available all day! Our room was clean and plenty of items to serve our needs.”
