“We had a wonderful stay at El Faro. The location was perfect for our family. The beach and Manuel Antonio National Park are very close. The view from our balcony was amazing. We knew about climbing the hill beforehand and really didn’t think it was that bad (our ages were 58, 49, 48, 46, 15, 14, 12, and 11). The hotel staff helped bring up and down our luggage, so that wasn’t an issue, and a golf cart ride was easily available, whenever needed. We also really enjoyed our breakfasts each morning,……

The room was clean and comfortable, and there’s a lovely balcony overlooking a tree full of parrots ! Pretty central, 20 min walk from the beach and most restaurants, 10min walk from the bus station.
