“My family and I stayed at the French Mill Granary for 3 nights. We really enjoyed it. Our teenage daughter slept in the gypsy caravan which she loved. The garden was fabulous (our dog loved to run and discover various parts) and the swing was a hit. Everyone was very helpful giving us ideas about the places we could visit. We really enjoyed the Isle of Wight and staying at the the Granary which is in a very good location to travel around. Thank you”

“The Old Radar Station is amazing and the views are breathtaking. If you are looking for somewhere away from it all this is the ideal place. Complete peace and quiet. “Very comfortable accommodations for our party of 4 adults. Our only complaint was that the shower is very small and cramped if you are an adult, but we did appreciate having an enclosed shower. Enjoyed the location, within walking distance of Ventnor's shops and quite excellent restaurants. Ruth was helpful and very easy to work with. Would stay again if we return to the Isle of Wight!”

“I loved that the rooms were self-catering. This was very handy and helpful - it meant I could get a few things from the shops to cook or put in the fridge rather than always eating out or getting takeaway. The room was also very attractive and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was that the front door slams every time someone comes in and out and I was right next to it. Sometimes the slamming would be continuous for quite a while. They really need to fix this.”

“We stayed at Byecross as a group of 10 with ages ranging from 9 to 77. Fabulous stay in a fabulous property with fabulous hosts. The Aga was fine to use and actually makes the best toast! If you are planning to stay at Byecross I would recommend doing a bit of research on how to use an Aga before arriving, and also plan to spend at least a couple of days at the property without going out anywhere as there really is so much to do and explore just on the property grounds and the surrounding area……
