“The pictures in the listing do not do this house justice. It’s a lovely gem in the heart of Masanutten. It is the most well-equipped VRBO we’ve ever stayed in! It was perfect for our group of friends and family who were in town for JMU graduation. ”

“The house was clean, decorated very nice, and the hot tub was fun. The one problem was that the bunk beds are not in a bedroom. They’re in the open basement with curtains around them. So the friends who signed up for that were a little surprised to say the least. There were 6 of us so they had to sleep there anyway. ”

“The space was actually bigger than it looked online! The kitchens had all the cookware that you could need but you do need to remember to bring spices and such ( my fault) The upstairs beds are very comfy and the pool tableIn the basement is a great way to pass some time ”

“The home was a perfect location for the 6 couples that stayed for my nephew and newest niece-in-law's wedding this weekend.. Well appointed, clean, and a great location. We enjoyed the home even though the weather prevented us from enjoying the wonderful deck. The basement gathering room was a perfect place for us to host a pre-wedding celebration for the couple and other family members staying in the area. The main living room was expansive and comfortable to sit and enjoy great conversation,……

“I spent a week to celebrate my 70th birthday with my adult children, and grandchildren. The house was nicely decorated yet cozy. Layout was great for all we wanted to do. The kitchen is well appointed and we mostly cooked in. Hot tub was a big hit... especially after hiking in the Shenandoah Park. Unit was clean. The littles enjoyed a nearby indoor water park. AC works well, but getting the upstairs cool enough made the downstairs family room and bedroom uncomfortably cold. ”

“The Ivy Rose Cottage was very comfortable and creatively decorated. The kitchen is nicely supplied for cooking simple meals. The trains did not disturb us and were fun to watch, especially the Amtrak. Great pizza and local brewery in nearby Crozet plus an excellent Harris Teeter grocery. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for an out-of-town stay. ”
