“The best experience of exploring Savannah was staying at the Marshall House. Every evening they served wine and cheese from 5:00-6:30 and had entertainment. The first night was a specialist on the paranormal, second night was a guy and his guitar and the third night was a historical talk. Loved the library where we were all entertained, comfortable seating. The staff went above and beyond, the hotel itself has been beautifully restored and is the oldest in Savannah. The breakfast was excellent!……

“This was our first time in a bed and breakfast. The staff was delightful. Property was clean. Location is perfect for shopping and walking in the historic district. I’m giving it 5 stars for what it is-but it’s not a five star hotel. It’s an old house! The food was better than what I would cook but if you love breakfast I hear there are some gourmet breakfast places in Savannah. I would stay here again and recommend to a friend for an affordable bed and breakfast. ”
