“The place had AC, overlooks the old castle, had a good breakfast, and is calm and cool at night. The owners were willing to help with any of our needs. The town is small and quiet so it was a relaxing stay. Overall very nice place! ”

“Our second visit to the hotel, after a short stay in a duplex apartment with friends in September. This time with family in two rooms, but it was still such a great weekend. Unbeatable views across the Alqueva lake, really friendly and accommodating staff throughout the hotel, great food and drinks. We'll be back (again) ”

Dakterras met wijds uitzicht, mooi bij zonsondergang. Casa heeft een leuk en ontspannend sfeertje. In het hart van Monsaraz (karaktervolle straatjes), maar toch privé en in alle rust. “I wish we had more time to stay here. It’s not a hotel, it’s an experience. Nothing like staying in a building over 700 years old. The views of the countryside were incredible. The service impeccable. Dining was great. We will absolutely return if we come back to Spain. ”
