“Sublime! We stayed for 3 nights at this wonderful place and miss it already! We were a multigenerational group of 5 and there was something for everyone. We loved the sound of the rain on the roof, 2 outdoor showers and an outdoor jacuzzi bath. The lanai looks out onto a neighbor’s fenced property with horses, donkey and even a baby donkey. They came out to greet us. We saw single and double rainbows daily. If you don’t like the weather, just wait 10 minutes. Tunnels is our favorite beach for……

“Amazing location. Pictures are completely accurate, including view from porch! Resort has lounge chairs where we watched the sunrise every morning! Close to town of hanalei, but a bit more remote which we loved. Appreciated finding beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach blankets and beach towels in the room. Great kitchen, has everything you need. 2 full bathrooms which was a treat. We liked the onsite restaurant…agree with another review that taco Tuesday was great! Pool/ hot tub area was nice.……

“You have likely seen the photos for this property so the feedback is simple: amazing and for us exactly what we hoped for when we first saw the listing.The lanai in the back is the place to be…starting when you wake up and ending while watching the sun sets. Even, or especially, when it is raining, the experience/view really made us appreciate the opportunity to stay here.Bedrooms are spacious as are the bathrooms…overhead fans at night were nice. “We stayed in the River house in May of 2025. Mark's property is very charming and isolated. House is a little dated but very well maintained and clean. He has a state of the art tesla power system and other mechanicals seem to be very updated. Location is great if you prefer privacy, dive to Hanalei takes 10 to 15 minutes over windy roads that are very dark at night. This is mentioned in other reviews but Kauai has a extensive population of wild chickens, and the rosters get very vocal……
