“We had an absolutely amazing and relaxing stay at this riverfront property! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The home was spotless, cozy, and well-appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. “I cannot say enough good things about this property from all the wonderful surprises (stocked coffee bar, complimentary toiletries, plenty of towels for a family of 5) to it being even more spacious than the pictures made it seem! Overall, this was the perfect getaway as we spent a couple days enjoying the backyard and water and then spent a couple days sight seeing making the about 2 hour drive into DC and the short 20 minute drive to Washington's birthplace right in Montross. “Super, super cute mid-century mod renovated cozy house, walking distance to many things in Colonial Beach. Located just off the main road, this is a great stay. Very comfortable, so beautifully decorated, and great outdoor space. The neighborhood is a little strange because it's a mix of a lot of older homes, located behind a 7-11, BUT it is just a humble area and we felt safe.
