“We celebrated my husbands 80 th birthday. Family joined us from East and West coasts. The party barn saved the day when we had some heavy rains the first couple days. Later when the skies cleared we played the tourist in Columbus and everyone enjoyed the little shops and learning about local Texas history.”

“We had a great experience with this rental. The only thing we could think of as a slight negative is the lack of a box of Kleenex!! Great kitchen for making breakfast and a couple dinners. Plenty of comfy beds and nice bathrooms for everyone. Location was peaceful but not too far from town. We enjoyed the visiting deer. Would stay again and recommend it!”

“The whole thing was adorable and very clean! Loved that it was just far enough out of town to have peace and quiet but still very convenient to town! Bummed there was no WiFi since cell service was poor. Had issues getting front door unlocked. Would have been helpful to know it was finicky up front. Overall great stay though! ”

The property was very clean and had plenty of space for the 12 of us to spread out. We would definitely recommend this property for a large group.”

“We recently stayed at Double K Lodging and had a great experience. Double K is located out in the countryside close to Round Top. There are three cabins available to rent, all located in a beautiful bucolic setting near a large pond, but with plenty of space separating them. We stayed in the Farmhouse which is right next to shore of the pond and it was cozy, clean, & comfortable. There is also a very nice pool near the cabins which we enjoyed during our stay. The Farmhouse has a full kitchen but……
