“Perfect stay in the heart of student off campus housing. Location was North Campus, an easy 25 minute walk from campus and less to bars, breweries, and restaurants! Free street parking was a breeze. It was 40 minute walk to the Horseshoe, close enough to walk and far enough so after the game we were able to stay out of the cluster of traffic and get to the airport. ”

“Traveled here from Philadelphia for my step daughters OSU orientation. After 7.5 hours in the car, this place was just what we needed. Clean, cozy, comfy....just perfect! Our stay was accompanied with a heat wave, but the AC was top notch. So close to the campus and many other great locations. We will definitely be back to utilize this place to visit our new OSU buckeye!! ”

“If you’re visiting the University area, this was a great location for us to see a concert one night, then a Buckeye game at the “Horseshoe”, go to Powell to the Huli Huli Tiki bar and lunch in German town. "Hidden Fees Scam The room was big and the price was okay, but they had a hidden $10 parking fee. Some websites said $5, but nowhere did it mention $10 on weekends. We checked in on Sunday, and there were only about 10 cars in the parking lot, yet they still charged us $10. Parking at Holiday Inn Express is almost always free for non-downtown location. This is the first one we’ve ever seen that charges for parking. If it were a football day, sure, but it wasn’t—it was a Sunday when even street parking is free. For IHG members, the fee is supposed to be waived. Later we asked for a refund, but the front desk said they needed to check with the manager since we hadn’t entered our IHG member number into the reservation. At the time of checking in, we were completely shocked and surprised by the parking fee and didn’t think to argue. Now, two days later, they still haven’t refunded our parking fee. Never booking here again. So, Holiday Inn is franchised— and this one is trying to scam money."
