“Hotel was very nice and new. The shower felt very high end. Our only issues are that the pillows are hard and you can definitely hear people walking on the floor above. ”

“The only option available to book was the part of the lodge that was not updated. We asked for an upgrade at checkin but they were not able to accomodate. Instead the front desk staff provided free breakfast for our stay which was very generous. Loved my spa booking and the staff in the spa. Enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. We got the same server, Willi, at both breakfasts. He was so nice and made it a pleasure. Everything needed was onsite. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back! ”

“I expected a rough but genuine attempt at a Bavarian style getaway for our wedding anniversary, but was impressed to find it very much exceeded expectations. Our waiter for dinner(Robert) was amazing and made sure everything was absolutely perfect. We will definitely be returning! ”

“Absolutely stunning location, full of beauty. Close to major roads but feels quiet and secluded. We will definitely visit again in-season but this is a phenomenal spot to stay for a day or two when traveling from the Midwest to the Northeast. ”

“I was in the small-sized king room but it was perfect for me and would be ideal for a couple. Very roomy setup with bed, lounge chair, desk, etc. Ample storage. The bathroom was impeccably clean. Valet worked fairly well. The actual valet was probably the hardest working person - - running back and forth. I was impressed. The app makes requesting your car very simple. They ran out of cream for the coffee Sunday by 9:30 which was odd. But the front desk found me some soy milk that saved the day……
