We wanted to be centrally located for our trip so we could be close enough to all of the places we wanted to visit. “Our family of 7 stayed for a week and it was very comfortable for all. Comfortable beds, functional kitchen, large dining space and plenty of room for lounging — though we were very busy and didn’t spend much time lounging. Close enough to walk to everything downtown. The decor of the house was fun and interesting — we all loved it. ”

“Very clean and comfortable property.Great central location”

“All the communication with Heidi and Rob was outstanding.The house was better than we anticipated. We had 10 adults and we all fit very well. The hot tub was so great after long days of exploring and hiking. The house was very modern and well laid out. The week we stayed with them happened to be one of the warmest on record. I contacted the host because the house was very warm at night, they were so kind and brought a couple of fans over which helped. I would highly recommend staying at this……

“My 10 year-old son and I had a wonderful stay. Margret, the host, was kind, thoughtful, and warm. We loved the house. It is charming, tasteful, and well appointed. Upon arrival, we found fresh flowers, fruit, pastries, yogurt, and a bottle of wine. The location is convenient and walking distance to most of the major sites in Reykjavik. My son was especially enchanted by the sleeping loft. We truly loved our stay. ”

“Super easy check-in! Just a code for key access and you’re in! It’s a smart house, so things like Alexa control the lights and hot tub! If you get the right night, even the pictures of the northern lights in the listing didn’t fail us. We saw them from the hot tub on our last night. Might have been more, but lots of rain during our stay. The town has a great bakery, pizza place & brewery with great staff and prices. Don’t miss the 4-mile round trip hike to the hot spring in town. The……

“Close to Reykjavik but far enough out of town for some privacy. Took multiple day trips. Hot tub was amazing after a day of exploring. House easily fit large, extended family. Had everything we needed for meals at home. Highly recommend!”
