“All in all excellent, ticked absoloutely all boxes for our requirements. Needed a "Staging Post" as early check out from holiday accomodation and very late flight time. On arrival reception staff very pleasant and helpful, in fact our room was ready for us earlier than normal time. Ground floor room, so no problems with heavy suitcases, very pleasant garden and clean pool with basic loungers and shade if required. Room lovely, exceptionally clean, with all facilities in consideration its……

“Our stay at the Royal Sun Hotel was perfect. The room with the sea view and balcony was of a high standard, clean and comfortable. The Hill restaurant, where we ate breakfast each day, had a stunning view overlooking the old port and the sea, and was a delight to sit at each morning. Antonis welcomed us warmly and showed us to our room, which was beautifully equipped and had an impressive balcony overlooking the Libyan Sea. “It was a great hotel close to Balos and Elafonissi beaches. The hotel was really clean, but there was some funky smell close to our room when we opened the door. The pool was nice and the beach was absolutely beautiful. The waves were a little harsh, but really great. ”

“To say that our stay here was excellent is truly an understatement. Crete was more than I could have ever dreamed of, and this hotel played a huge part in that. The drive to the hotel is definitely not the easiest drive, but it is so worth it (very windy road up and down the mountain, it is all paved and there are guardrails but very little light at night). “I enjoyed where the hotel was located ie within close walking distance of the town. The staff especially Mr Yiannis were VERY helpful. ”
