“We had a micro king room. This room had plenty of amenities for a small room. The hotel is situated in the heart of Salem. There are great views of the city at the hotels roof bar. Lots of cool places to check out around the Hotel. ”

“I liked everything about the Hawthorne and I would return. I rented the smallest room and that might have been an error on my part. The shower was my only hang up. It is tiny. But, again the room was my choice. I slept well and I’d choose the Hawthorne again!”

“The hot water switch of the bathtub is not working well. The water is hot and cold at the same time. The bathtub drain is not smooth.”

“A big convention hotel with a pool and a gym. Housekeeping did not make up my room when i went out from 8 to 2:30p. Had to call Housekeeping. Even then, they missed replenishing a face towel. There is no bathrobe in the room. Front desk staffs were exceptionally friendly and efficient. I was given coupons to Starbucks snd M.J.O'CONNORS, which i used and were very nice. Not a bad hotel to stay.”
