“It was good, very clean and absolutely cozy. But just a couple of things would have allowed for a 5 star review. the bed is WAY to hard, very uncomfortable. The exterior needs some gardening upkeep, it looks somewhat ignored. We were excited for the pool but it wasn't cleaned and wasn't heated. BUT those were very minor. ”

“This was our first visit. The hotel is small, attractive and comfortable. It was a Monday and there were very few guests. Unfortunately, our room #4 was next to a room that needed extra cleaning and/or maintenance and the activity was annoying. Worse than that, in the room on the other side of us, an actual or wannabe opera singer played loud music and practiced his vocals. The walls are paper-thin and the noise ruined our time at the hotel. We'll give it another try sometime, but the experience……

The property is beautiful and quiet and is only a short drive away to downtown Wimberly and area’s like Jacob’s Well, The Blue Hole and Old Baldy. We appreciated the small added touches like the S’mores kit, tea, coffee and even firewood for the fire pit. This is definitely a place we will come back too. ”
